the story behind this box

this box is the result of a special collaboration with joëlle from inblckandwht studios. multi-talented joëlle is a philosopher, illustrator and mother of phoenix, indy and harper-sofia. she loves to create little universes for her children in which it feels like anything is possible and no dream is too big. as if you're stepping into your favourite children’s book. 

our first encounter was through joëlle’s beautiful photos. when we met in real life we immediately felt a kindred spirit and curiosity to explore a way to join forces. that's how this beautiful box came to life. it combines joëlle's magical words and images with our aesthetics, crafts and towels (joëlle's favourite an.nur item).  

what's in the box?

a limited first edition print. Signed, numbered and hand-embellished by joëlle. Art print size is 18 x 26 cm, printed on 300 grams pure cotton paper.

a poetry card telling the story of the whale and the hare going on an adventure together. 

a limited edition embroidered towel set: we've created a swaddle with joëlle's quote "every big adventure starts small" and a mini towel with the cutest little whale embroidery. 

as you may expect, all items are carefully bundled in a pretty treasure box.
