about us

At atelier an.nur, we believe that every piece tells a story—just like our journey. As a proud family-owned business, we pour our hearts into creating beautiful, high-quality essentials that bring comfort and elegance to your life.

Founded with a passion for craftsmanship and creativity, atelier an.nur has always been about more than just products. It's about connections—between the maker and the wearer, between our family and yours. What began as a dream has evolved into a brand that is deeply rooted in tradition, yet ever-evolving to meet the desires of our valued customers.

The name an.nur was inspired by An-Nur meaning "the light" in Arabic. Just as light illuminates and brings warmth, our creations are made with the intention of adding a spark of beauty and quality to your life.

All of our products are ethically sourced, which means they are produced and purchased in a manner that demonstrates respect for the people who make them, as well as for the environment. That’s why part of our products are made-to-order and almost entirely made by hand.

Our collection started with functional, clean-cut and elegant baby pieces that fit the grown-up home. As soon as you enter the world of becoming a parent, you're flooded with flashy, low quality items, built to become redundant within less than a year. Our planet deserves better. We created an.nur to change that.

It was our dream to make a collection for the entire family, with investment pieces that grow along with you. To become treasured heirlooms, to pass them on, to renew their function, or sometimes even upcycle them into new beautiful products.

The past few years we've grown in so many ways. Building a company that can stand the test of time is hard work. Through ups and downs, we've laughed, cried and as a consequence always learned. It all comes together in our new collection we are home.
In so many ways this collection feels like homecoming. Creating meaningful pieces that last, is what drives us. We genuinely believe that by investing in long-lasting and honest pieces, you'll appreciate them all the more, and your need to buy more will become less."
